Thank you for your decision to support Rwanda Girls Initiative with a tax-deductible contribution! Make your donation online through PayPal, using your credit card or PayPal account. You may choose to directly sponsor a girl's education at the Gashora Girls Academy (please read about our sponsorship programs below) or donate another amount to support the school.
To make a donation in honor of someone, please use the 'instructions to the seller' box to provide the name of the person your donation is in honor of, the address where we should send an acknowledgement, and any note that you would like to include with the acknowledgement.
If you would like to make your donation by check, please make it payable to “Rwanda Girls Initiative” and mail it to the address below. Please include a note stating your name and contact information. After we receive your check, we will acknowledge your tax-deductible gift with a letter, which will be considered your receipt.

Sponsor Students at the Gashora Girls Academy ($2000)
KWIGA Level Sponsorships (Kwiga – to learn)
Your $2000 contribution provides a high quality upper-secondary education for one student, increasing her future opportunities in her education, career, and life. The sponsorship covers the full cost of attending the Gashora Girls Academy for one student:
- Classroom instruction, textbooks, and school supplies
- Housing in the dorms, three meals per day, health and hygiene supplies
What you will receive
- A hard-copy photo and bio of the student who you are sponsoring
- An update on the student’s progress at the end of the school year
RUKA Level Sponsorships (Ruka – to soar)
Your $5000 contribution provides a high quality upper-secondary education for one student and allows the school to invest in the ‘whole girl’ through support, activities, and nutrition The sponsorship covers the full cost of attending the Gashora Girls Academy for one student (above) and makes an additional investment in the following:
- Modern science and technology equipment which will prepare her for a successful career in Rwanda’s new economy
- An on-campus agricultural program which will provide her with diverse sources of nutrition and hands-on learning experiences in science and entrepreneurship
- Support for clubs, art, music, and sports – those experiences outside of the classroom that will shape her confidence, ambitions, and values
- A mentoring program where students of the school will travel to hear from successful Rwandan women in business, politics, and other leadership roles
What you will receive
- A hard-copy photo and bio of the student who you are sponsoring
- An update on the student’s progress at the end of the school year
- An invitation to an annual update by the RGI Board on the progress of the school (taking place in Seattle)
